I drew this around 6 years ago :P
It’s a tribute to Kawabata’s Beauty and Sadness.

For those who do not know Yasunari Kawabata, he was a Japanese 1968 Nobel Prize winner in Literature. Died in 1972, some say it was a suicide. You can just wiki it.

I like it when me having nostalgic moments with my past-works. It helps to contemplate the recent-me in a more direct manner.

Maan, this kind of things has nothing to do with my doings right now, but, just try it… You should do it too sometime! :)

[this drawing got itself to a book cover by the same title]

I’m imagining if that drawing in size of about 20 square foot… exhilarating and intoxicating at the same time! :D
